The purpose of Next Gen Hack FI association is to develop and increase young people's awareness of information security, job opportunities offered by the cyber and information security industry, and understanding of ethical hacking

The association was initially established to develop and nurture awareness of the young regarding information security, cyber and information security industry provision job opportunities and to act as a support for young people in ethics in situations related to hacking.

Activities of the association are based on experts specializing in cyber security to provide support for information security testing and for young people interested in hacking, enabling high-quality and versatile challenges in a safe environment.

To fulfill its purpose, the association organizes hacking challenges, educational and discussion and networking events, engages in information and publishing activities, giving recognitions, and keeping in touch with other organizations, educational institutions and cyber security to influencers in Finland and abroad, working with them in cooperation.

In addition, the association participates and involves young people to participate in activities organized by other entities that support the goals of the association.
